About the role

Innovation and a progressive outlook are also vital to our success so we're now looking for a highly driven, forward thinking General Manager to join our Vauxhall business in St Helens. With three brand new Vauxhall models launched the opportunities for growth with this manufacturer have never been better. St Helens is an established Vauxhall business within the Lookers group and this is a unique opportunity for someone ambitious and determined to make their mark and take the business to the next level.
The ideal candidate will have experience in a senior management role with experience gained from the used car market with well-developed management and leadership skills and the ability to adjust style and approach to maximise team and individual performance. You'll be a commercially minded business leader, recognised as having track record in identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing strategies for growth. You'll thrive under pressure, be able to handle conflicting demands and have a strong sense of integrity, excellent interpersonal and negotiating skills along with an honest and respectful approach.
