Field Sales Executive, Account Manager. Covering East Anglia. £25,000 basic, £40,000 OTE + Car + Pension + additional benefits. This is an outstanding sales account management opportunity working for the top-end kitchen appliance manufacturer. We are simply looking for a great business to business sales professional with a great attitude and a desire to learn and progress their career.
As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for developing existing relationships within the retail sector covering the East Anglia region. Your total account portfolio of around 300 separate accounts is worth around £4M and includes independent retailers and distributors, multiple retailers, national trade distributors, showrooms and department stores. Your KPIs are a minimum of eight meetings per day to support your accounts. Making appointments is not usually necessary and the best performers in the team are averaging at fifty appointments per week.
This is a consultative account management role that requires an individual that is self-motivated, intelligent and confident with the ambition and desire to be the very best. Whilst the role is predominantly account management, it does require an individual that always has an eye on growth and increasing business from within the accounts.
Previous industry experience is not necessary but as a minimum you must have some business to business field sales experience. Applications will be accepted from experienced telesales people, with some field exposure, looking for their first break into a full-time field sales role. As a person, you will be highly professional that can demonstrate throughout their life the strong desire to be 'above average'.
A key part of the interview process will be based on your attitude, aspirations and determination to succeed. Therefore, within your CV we should be able to identify logical career progression and loyalty together with continuous improvement and achievements.
As well as managing the accounts you will also be responsible for training the retailers own sales staff, introducing new products and helping with marketing activities. In this consultative account management role, the ability to build lasting 'win-win' business relationships, with the retailers is essential.
