My client is a global leader for education, an exclusive postgraduate university based in the Bedforshire. They are a growing business unit in a rapidly expanding market place. You will be joining the development team reporting into the Senior Development Manager for Major Gifts. The team manage a variety of activities and services to keep lifelong engagement between the University and the Alumni.
Day to Day you will be interacting with donors within Major Gifts, visiting 8-10 of these a week and working closely with internal stakeholders. The role is office based but there is an expectation to be out and about regularly, with the opportunity to work from home on occasion. This role will require you to interact with senior level and research with the donors, it is important that you have a willingness to learn and develop.
The ideal candidate will have an understanding of business development and confident to present at senior level. They will have a can do attitude and a energetic approach. Candidates with a background in fund raising is a bonus but someone who can adapt to selling in this environment will do well with the right attitude.
