JOB TITLE: Account Director for Service Providers IT Services Sales
SELLING: Cisco professional services.
SELLING TO: Vodafone
TERRITORY: UK Wide
LOCATION: London
PACKAGE: Basic: £55K-£75K. OTE: 110K-£150K. Benefits: £7K - £9K car, pension, healthcare, tools and child care vouchers.
COMPANY INFORMATION
- This company is a global systems integrator with a worldwide turnover of $3.8billion and a UK turnover of £250million.
- In the UK they have 1400 employees but more than 10,000 worldwide.
- Established since 1983, this organisation is doing fantastically well so far; they have 50% operating profit and are 23% up on revenue.
- 2/3 of sales team over target.
- 25% of sales team are 50% or more over target and into accelerators.
YOU MUST HAVE/BE THE FOLLOWING
- The successful applicant will be somebody that has sold to the service provider market before, such as ISPs or major telecoms.
- All applicants must be articulate and able to sell at board level.
- Experience of selling related services, not products and effectively communicating at C-Level is required for this position.
- A proven track record of account development within major fixed line telecoms operators is necessary.
- All applicants must have sold new business horizontally and will have had a mid tier sales role.
ROLE INFORMATION
- If you are looking for a step up in your career then this is the ideal opportunity for you to work as an Account Director selling IT services.
- The Account Director role will have 3 direct sales reports and these people collectively will be responsible for an account worth £90million.
- The IT services that will be sold in this role include networking, IT outsourcing, storage, managed services, contact centre integration, convergence, virtual private networks and IP networking.
- This is a pure account development sales role that is 100% services led sales. There will also be a heavy element of selling software licenses included.
- The sales cycles in this position will range from 1 to 9 months, with deal sizes from £5million to £10million.
- C-level and director level will be targeted within organisations, with COOs as the main points of contact.
- The Account Director will have a target of 25% increase on this account.
- Support will be given by a supported infrastructure team for each different solution and an appointment setting team.
