Job Description

An exciting opportunity to lead the development of a standalone New Media category for a major Consumer Electronics brand across the EMEA Retail markets.

You will hold overall responsibility for developing market presence for all New Media products in EMEA Region. Specifically you will:

  • Develop, attain and exceed quarterly and annual sales/ margin goals for the region.
  • Develop and execute EMEA sales and marketing strategies in region.
  • Be directly responsible for establishing and fostering meaningful/senior customer relationships.
  • Develop and manage of all regional operating expenses and budgets.
  • Review and refine the budget requirements for the New Media category.
  • Recruit and manage a best in class sales team across EMEA.
  • Leverage UK/HQ support functions as appropriate.
  • Develop local distribution and order management functions as necessary.
  • Mentor, coach and develop all EMEA based New Media Sales employees.

You must demonstrate an exceptional track record of Sales Leadership in the EMEA Consumer Electronics marketplace, an affinity and passion for a premium branded product and be able to demonstrate meaningful business relationships with major pan EMEA Retailers in the Premium Space.

In addition to this experience your CV will demonstrate superior operational competencies in:

  • Product sell-through analysis and category management.
  • Contract negotiation and compliance.
  • Price/margin analysis
  • Marketing investment ROI analysis.
  • Forecasting, planning and inventory management.
  • P&L analysis and financial management.
  • The experience and credibility to lead a team with the flexibility and pragmatism required to work within a fluid environment in the early days is paramount.
