Marketing Director Vacancies - Sales & Marketing Director Vacancies. Zest's Scientific recruitment division is currently recruiting for a senior level Marketing Director to head up my clients European Marketing team chartered to create and implement strategies to grow the Laboratory Consumables business division. The role is an integral function in leading a team of seven European Product Managers in order to deliver regional revenue growth objectives for Europe. The client is an industry leader with a reputation for providing unrivalled levels of service.
The Marketing Director is tasked with coordinating the efforts of the European Product Management group, implementing best practice principles and ultimately acting as the senior level representative of the division to Channel Partners and the Management Board. Establishing specific objectives, measuring performance and providing continued coaching to the Product Management team, the Marketing Director will be additionally responsible for defining regional promotional tools and sales tactics to drive sales including product pricing, promotional tactics and distribution channels. This is a European based role with extensive travel expected, candidates will need to demonstrate excellence in both oral and written English communication, an additional European language would be highly advantageous. The successful candidate will be required to be located in either the UK, Holland, France or Germany.
Naturally, due to the senior commercial nature of the role applicants will need to demonstrate a high level of commercial acumen with a proven record of successfully delivering in a direct sales and marketing capacity within the Scientific market. Although it is not essential that candidates have previous experience within the laboratory consumables market, it is a requisite that candidates have experience within the wider commercial scientific sector. The successful candidate will be a dynamic leader who can take ownership of projects and drive business growth. In addition, strong analytical skills and the ability to draw conclusions and observations from market trends and unit analysis is a requisite. An MBA would be advantageous, although not essential.
The remuneration package includes a base salary ranging from £65,000 - £80,000 (DOE) + Bonus, Company Car, Healthcare, Pension plus a range of additional benefits.
