Customer Service Team Leader opportunity with Monier Redland based in Leighton Buzzard.

Description

The Customer Service Team Leader will be responsible for:

  • Leading and managing their team of up to 10 Customer Service Representatives in the Leighton Buzzard Office, helping them to deliver exceptional customer service in line with company policy, targets and key performance criteria.
  • Continuously monitoring and improving team performance against key performance criteria.
  • Assisting with the recruitment of team members and welcoming and inducting new recruits.Identifying training needs and coordinating on-going training plans with regular reviews on progress and training effectiveness.
  • Producing performance reports and presenting these to their Senior Management Team.

Profile

It is desirable that the successful candidate will have experience in Customer Service and People Management within a manufacturing environment with:

  • An understanding of the manufacturing process and how this impacts on product availability, allocation and logistics.
  • Strong leadership skills, able to make commercially correct decisions whilst positively managing colleague and customer expectations.
  • Empowering management and strong mentoring skills, which make team member's feel accountable and in control, whilst being a supportive presence, ensuring compliance.
  • Experience of working in a target-driven environment.
  • Most importantly: A positive, can-do attitude and a willingness to improve themselves and their team, whilst growing with the business.
