My client now has a vacancy for a Customer Service Senior Manager to lead and manage their customer service team through a significant period of change. Initially offered on a 6 month contract with high potential to be extended to 12 months+.

My client is a large multinational organisation. HQ based in Newcastle.

Description

As the Customer Service Senior Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing the customer service team (c.40 heads) through a significant period of change. This will involve developing robust and efficient customer service/sales processes and work flows as well as outstanding customer services practices. You will be responsible for overseeing the customer experience and timely processing of all customers and enquirers by creating and implementing a strategy for improving customer experience across all channels and in all interactions.

Profile

The successful Customer Service Senior Manager will have the following demonstrable skills:

  • Proven track record of leading and managing change within a large customer service team.
  • Experience of developing and implementing customer service processes as well as customer service best practice within a team.
  • Thorough working knowledge of practices/processes/procedures/systems, particularly in customer services and sales.
  • Ability to think and operate strategically within a call centre and customer service / sales environment.
  • Leader who can influence at all levels of an organisation.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate others to achieve results.
  • Excellent communication skills - listening, written and verbal.
  • Strong presentation and interpersonal skills, with change management experience.
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
  • Exceptional relationship management skills.
  • Degree educated or qualified by relevant experience.
  • Commutable daily to HQ location in Newcastle Upon Tyne
  • Please note this is a 6 month FTC initially with the potential for this to be extended 12 months +.

Job Offer

Salary up to £60k DOE PRO-RATA
