This is a fantastic and exciting opportunity to join a growing company in the sporting industry as a Corporate Sales Executive. Office based in the East Midlands, you will be responsible for building relationships and securing business within their hospitality and events sector with a range of clients in order to drive growth within the company.

Description

As the Corporate Sales Executive you will become an integral part of the Corporate Sales Team, where you will be required to prospect for new business sales including corporate events and hospitality packages to a wide range of clients. The role will be a mixture of telesales and networking with clients on a face to face basis. The business requires an individual who is ambitious, driven and not afraid to pick up the phone!

Responsibilities of the Corporate Sales Executive will include but are not limited to:

  • Prospecting of new business sales across corporate events, hospitality and advertising packages
  • Achieving objectives and hitting targets for match day hospitality and connected products and services
  • Forecasting and providing weekly sales figures to the Head of Sales
  • Attending executive meetings on match days
  • Working not only with external stakeholders but also cross-functionally with internal stakeholders in the business
  • Promoting and representing the business in a professional and competent manner

Profile

Key skills and experience required:

  • Proven track record in new business
  • Experienced in B2B sales
  • Experience of working both on the telephone & meeting with clients face to face
  • Experience within the Corporate Hospitality & Events industry would be highly advantageous
  • Proven track record of success in a targeted environment
  • Able to work to a high standard under pressure
  • A passionate, enthusiastic and driven approach
  • Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, networking and relationship building skills are essential in this role
  • Self motivated and able to work on your own initiative
  • Capable of adapting and communicating at different levels, both internally and externally with key stakeholders
  • Full, clean UK driving license
