Are you an experienced Technical Sales professional who has sold directly into the aerospace industry?
Do you have an understanding and appreciation of a machining environment and have sold machined components previously?
Elevation Sales are currently looking to speak with experienced Commercial Managers from an Engineering background who can demonstrate previous success of selling directly into the Aerospace industry. Our client are a rapidly expanding business as part of a well-reputed group who manufacture and distribute steel products to Aerospace, Oil and Gas and Defence industries.
This is a unique opportunity to join a growing business during a time of huge expansion with the chance to create your own sales strategy with the agreement of Group level Directors and the support of the General Manager. You will use your existing contacts in the Aerospace market to help to develop new sales for the business as well as maximising existing business by promoting longer term contracts.
You will work closely with internal colleagues in the group in order to develop marketing and sales opportunities, therefore you would be required to work from the South Yorkshire office. As a senior member of the team you will take responsibility for chairing Sales meetings twice a week in order to communicate progress and successes as well as taking responsibility for managing the sales support function.
In order to develop new business and build strong customer relationships you will be required to travel throughout the UK and potentially conduct some European travel. This role will also require you to attend trade fairs and exhibitions to promote the companies offering of machined components.
To be considered for this role you must meet the following criteria;
*Experience of selling machined components
*Experience of selling directly into the aerospace industry is essential
*Experience of managing a small sales support function would be ideal but not essential
*General commercial experience including sales and marketing would be an advantage in order to help the business to promote products in new areas
