A FTSE 250 business is looking to recruit a Business Development Manager - Software to join one of their start up business units. This is an opportunity to be a part of a high growth team, with strong development culture and earning potential.

Client Details

As a leading bluechip in the UK economy, my client diversified their Software business unit through acquisitions of high opportunity SMEs looking for additional funding and support - akin to a more established accelerator programme. Since the acquisition, this business unit has more than doubled their revenue and head count, and are now looking at international expansion.

An innovative provider of ERP SaaS, they've carved a niche for themselves through providing a simple UI allowing the rapid implementation and upskilling of users. Businesses such as Deloitte, Johnson & Johnson and Barclays rely on the business critical software.

To continue to scale the business, they're looking for a Business Development Manager - Software to join their high flying team, based in the City of London.

Description

The Business Development Manager - Software will be responsible for:

  • Taking ownership of the sales cycle - average annual contract values of £70,000.
  • Running down growth targets.
  • Partnering with a Lead Generator to ensure a pipeline of warm leads for you to close.
  • Consulting with senior decision makers to close new sales within the Professional Services space.
  • Collaborating with the wider team to win new business and ensure the product remains as competitive as possible.

Profile

The successful candidates will exhibit the following traits:

  • Prior success in Software sales, ideally ERP software.
  • Track record in delivering against targets.
  • Network within the Professional Services space.
  • Able to travel across UK.

Job Offer

£45,000-£55,000 Basic Salary, Double OTE (uncapped) and Extensive Benefits.
