Job Title: Business Development Executive

Location: Bradford, West Yorkshire

Salary: Up to £30,000 basic salary dependent on experience, uncapped commission up to 50K, plus pension, and healthcare

Working Hours: 9am to 5:30pm, Monday to Friday

The company was founded in 1998 and has consistently achieved steady growth in the UK, Europe and across the world. They sell their products in over 100 countries and across 5 continents. They have a diverse team of multilingual professionals winning exceptional sales globally.

Job Role

Duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Research organizations to find new customers and identify who makes the decisions
  • 'Cold Call' to arrange meetings at customers' premises or over the telephone
  • Find out what a business needs and work with buyers to plan proposals and negotiate best pricing
  • Sell products to new and existing customers
  • Negotiate with customers and build positive relationships
  • Attend events and conferences to gain information on market trends and competitors, as required
  • Write reports and make presentations to customers and senior management
  • Identify new methods and opportunities for sales campaigns
  • Forecast sales targets and make sure they are met

The Candidate

Essential Requirements:

  • Must have a proven track record in Business Development/Sales
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the confidence to approach people at all levels of seniority
  • Ambitious and persistent
  • Self-motivated and enjoy working to targets
  • A natural net worker
  • Articulate, confident communicator with presentation skills
  • Thrive in a pressurised, sales-driven environment
  • Commercial knowledge to analyses market data and identify new opportunities
  • Strong team player, but equally good at taking initiative
  • Persuasive and credible
  • Numerical skills

Required: UK Driving License
