Business Development Sales Manager, Ink and Consumables into Large Format Printers, North of England, £45,000 Basic (negotiable), £55,000 OTE + Company Car + Benefits. Leading supplier and manufacturer of large format printing consumables require an experienced business development oriented Sales Manager to penetrate further into accounts within the North of England (primarily M62 corridor from Leeds to Manchester). This is a sophisticated corporate sales role where you will be tasked with winning large rolling contracts to supply together with large one-off deals. Whilst the accounts you will be managing have been trading for many years the emphasis is very much on account development and as such requires a 'hunter' rather than 'farmer' mentality.
As such, it is suited to an individual with experience of winning business with large format printers. Ideal backgrounds would be selling products into printers such as inks and consumables or products into the likes of signage and digital signage providers, exhibition providers, point of sale material providers, graphic production and post-production. Experience of working through marketing agencies, design agencies and exhibition design agencies would also be useful.
You will have full access to all of the company's existing accounts to cross-sell to win new business within existing accounts. To apply you must be a consummate sales professional that has experience of winning contracts within the commercial print sector.
The commission scheme is fair, generous, easy to understand and uncapped. In your third year you should be expected to achieve an OTE in excess of £85K.
This is a highly autonomous role where you are supported by telesales who will assist with appointment setting and marketing campaigns developed and led by yourself. The role reports into the Sales Director and is ideal for a self starter with extensive business development skills within the print sector, ideally with experience of winning end user and agency contracts.
This 'go ahead' business enjoys consistent business growth, extremely low staff attrition and has won several business awards. You will have board level involvement on a weekly basis and significant input into the direction of this successful and burgeoning business.
To apply you will be well presented, flexible and ambitious and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
