The Role: As Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for managing a range of existing accounts within the public and private sector. Through database management, you will be expected to up sell and cross sell within these accounts and increase revenue by networking through and identifying key decision makers. In addition to managing these existing accounts, you will be expected to develop new business opportunities through cold calling, face to face meetings and leads created by marketing campaigns. With occasional visits to the regional offices in Manchester and Blackburn, you will be part of a vibrant and high activity based sales team. You will be given a realistic set of KPI's and you will be given complete autonomy to target potential customers in the West Lancashire area.

The Person: The successful candidate will have a minimum of eighteen months + sales experience in any business to business environment. You could have worked in a field sales role or even in a telesales environment and your ability to develop business will be pivotal if you are to secure this position. You will be passionate, thick skinned and money motivated as well having an ambitious attitude towards your career.
Package: £28,000 - £31,000 Basic, £42,000 OTE, plus company car, fuel card, mobile phone, laptop, pension, 24 days holiday (plus bank holidays)
