Ideally located in the North of England area, the Business Development Manager will provide day-to-day Sales Activity to customers, prospects and the organisation.
Acting as single point of contact to customers and prospects for products & services, The BDM is responsible for creating a territory plan and strategy, coordinating and controlling the sales process, managing prospect and client expectations and negotiating contracts.
A multinational corporation that develops, manufactures, and distributes analogue and digital imaging products and systems, as well as IT solutions.
Main duties include:
Create and execute a strategic territory plan
Focus on establishing new business relationships with client organisations
Act as single point of contact to any assigned customer base for products & services
Accompany prospective customers from first contact to closing of contract
Qualification of accounts and opportunities
Accurately forecasting monthly and quarterly business
Maintain and Update the Internal Sales Management tool
Manage customer/prospect relationship
Manage customer/prospect expectations during proposal & negotiation phase
Negotiate with customers/prospects
Negotiation of service contracts
Explain and demonstrate the sold products/solutions and think strategically with the customer
Coordinate and control sales processes
Being Sales contact in hand-over from sales to Services
Assist the service manager during proposal & negotiation phase for SMA
3-5 years Sales or Pre-sales experience, preferably within Healthcare IT and/or Radiology
Proven experience in:Account/Business Development, New Business Sales,
Clinical System Sales, Cardiology, Radiology Sales, IT Sales to the Healthcare market
Knowledge of the NHS is a must.
Clinical background an advantage.
