Business Development Manager - eBilling Software Leaders Swindon £28,000 - £32,000 plus bonus and package based on experience We are a truly unique Technology company with ambitious growth expectations. We are nearing completion of a £1m software redevelopment program and are about to move into new offices that reflect these ambitions We require an experienced Business Development Manager, with a minimum of 2 years experience within the Technology/IT industry, to drive the growth of our sales pipeline. In this challenging and pivotal role the Business Development Manager will work closely with the Director of Sales and be responsible for: identifying new business opportunities; initiating and developing relationships with potential clients; presenting & pitching; and delivering sales in terms of new clients and new warm leads. The role will involve email campaign management, cold calling, proposal writing and lead nurturing and will work across a number of verticals. You must be a true hunter and an excellent communicator with great interpersonal skills. You must be a solid all-round relationship builder and be able to fulfil the required monthly quota of quality outbound calls to new sales prospects, as part of the sales qualification process. Business Development Manager Responsibilities: + Identify prospects, source new leads and qualify opportunities across our prospects database + Generate sales by cold/warm calling prospective clients and arranging client meetings + Utilise phone, email and marketing activities to communicate and present company and product offerings + Answer/respond to inbound questions/calls and RFP’s from prospects + Report in a timely and accurate manner all business activities on our CRM database + Provide market intelligence to the Sales Director, Marketing Manager and Sales Team by identifying any product gaps, new business opportunities and competitor information + Organise, attend and present at prospect sales meetings + Proactively interact with other internal departments/stakeholders in the company to fulfil sales objectives and activities Business Development Manager Desired Skills & Experience: + Proven experience in Business Development; preferably within an ERP or an Accounting/ Credit Control environment + Proven experience in managing the deal cycle from cold call through to contract stage + Excellent interpersonal and client relationship building skills + Creative, driven and intelligent sales skill-set + Possess the ability to quickly understand and effectively communicate our core solutions and service offerings, particularly from a technical perspective + Able to identify prospects and make calls on the best approach to take in different situations + Very organised and have a good understanding of sales process + Strong ability to influence at all levels and strong new sales and negotiations skills + Must be comfortable speaking with high level decision makers + Excellent time management, multi tasking and organisational skills + Demonstrated ability to be proactive and take initiative to get things done + Tenacity/Intensity and results orientation + Passion for ongoing professional development Other skills: + Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills + Excellent IT skills with a focus on MS office products to include PowerPoint + Must have the ability to prioritise workload + A positive outlook and be adaptable within the role + CRM proficient + Fluent in English About us: Based in Oxfordshire, we are a privately owned company with a drive to succeed.
