Description

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for the following:

  • Proactively seeking new business by speaking to suitable individuals in the market

  • Actively pursue leads and manage the entire sales process

  • Manage the CRM and maintain communication with partner business to ensure strong working relationships

  • Develop new strategies to target the right markets and generate optimal revenues

  • Work internally with patterns to align business strategy to the sales process and maintaining growth

  • Work to pre-determined targets

  • Able to think un-aided and use initiative regularly

Profile

The Successful Business Development Manager will have the following skills

  • Relevant experience in customer acquisition and a proven track record in the above responsibilities

  • Understanding of CRM, KPI-based and analytical systems

  • Knowledge of online sales and CRM methods and best practices

  • Ability to manage projects and campaigns end-to-end; excellent planning, analytical and project management skills

  • Strong communication (verbal and written) and literacy skills, along with a customer-oriented attitude

  • Great team player, comfortable working with agile, small (and growing!) teams

  • Open to receiving objective criticism and improving upon it

  • Able to manage own workload and in time.

  • Marketing skills are not essential, though they are of interest

Job Offer

The successful Business Development Manager will receive

  • Salary between £30 and £35k pro rata to a day rate basis

  • Initial temporary contract with the option to go perm upon good performance

  • Based in City of London

  • Great start up environment
