The role as Business Development Manager will drive all new business avenues in a B2B market at an integral time for my client in further defining market leadership. This role will be at the forefront of new business across the West Midlands.

We are supporting the business through an exciting time of growth across the Commercial division & we are looking for exceptional sales people with a natural new business flair to be an integral part of the Midlands team.

Description

The responsibilities of the Business Development Manager will be to:

  • Drive business & become the face of the business across the West Midlands & wider Midlands region
  • Win new business in your region from targeted competitors and customers
  • Focus on the full B2B market - multiple sectors
  • Able to forecast and deliver against that
  • Meet with clients face to face to close deals
  • Drive relationships & offer a highly consultative approach
  • Use the CRM system to record all info
  • Ability to close business & hunt new prospects

Profile

The successful Business Development Manager will have:

  • Minimum 3 years Field B2B sales experience
  • Have a proven track record in winning new business in a hunter role
  • Able to articulate your wins and how you have performed against target
  • Able to work in a fast paced sales environment
  • High professional and personal standards
  • Competitive & will to succeed
  • Based in the West Midlands or East Midlands regions
