Our client is an established and well respected automotive technology services company and due to continuous growth and internal promotion, they are now looking to recruit a well-rounded sales professional to take on the position of New Business Development Manager for the Yorkshire region


This highly successful organisation offers cutting edge and innovative products and services to the automotive and Insurance business sector

Description:

Joining as the New Business Development Manager you will report directly the Sales Director and will be able to:

  • To actively prospect and convert new business opportunities.
  • Research insight into industry trends, market dynamics, and demographics
  • Understand competitors and the local markets
  • Identify potential new business prospects with a strategic fit from within the automotive and associated industries
  • Compile a meaningful and on-going "pipeline" of new business prospects
  • Determine potential opportunities
  • Construct and present business proposals
  • Negotiate and close new business opportunities
  • Help develop plans to drive account performance and ensure potential revenues and margins are realised


Candidate profile:

  • Previous field based business to business new business/sales experience
  • Ideally experience with automotive environment
  • Demonstrable track record of achieving targets and increasing business and revenue
  • Commercial acumen including market place trends
  • Positive approach to building new relationships
  • Familiarity with using state of the art CRM systems
  • Willingness to travel to various UK locations
  • Competent with using (MS Office) MS Word, Excel and Power Point


In return, the successful candidate will receive a basic salary circa £37,000 plus an uncapped bonus scheme and company car, laptop & phone
