Business Development Manager

What you will do

As a Business Development Manager you will be in a customer facing position responsible for increasing new business sales with a focus on developing relation with specifiers (Consultants, contractors and end users)

How you will do it

Your schedule will include: developing and finding sales opportunities throughout the region, managing the specifier channel including security and building consultancy firms and contractors, offering support and advice on products including system design and compliances, completing customer bids and proposals as needed, carrying out demonstrations and presentations to consultants and end user customers, visiting key customers to demonstrate and discuss Access Control products and promote sales including support of product launches, constant liaison with customers to offer support and advice on specific products/projects and assisting and attending trade and channel focused events in the area

What we look for

[Required Qualifications – Education, Skills & Experience]

· Technical Higher National Certificate with relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and job experience that includes significant technical content

· Proven experience of working with specifiers and decision makers in a sales or business development role within security or other similar technical environment

[Preferred Qualifications – Education, Skills & Experience]

· Evidence of previous relationships working with security specifiers and building consultancy firms with access control focus will be an advantage

Experience working in Access Control Technical Sales would be an advantage

· Proven presentation skills

· Action oriented, customer focused, creative and technical awareness

· Strong Interpersonal skills

· Excellent communication skills
