The Business Development Manager will be responsible for new account acquisition and new product promotion. The successful candidate will manage direct end-customer relationships as well as relationships with distributors.

A leading manufacturer of personal care products.

Description

  • Implement sales strategy of Year on Year growth and successfully launching new range of ingredients

  • Achieve growth targets by new account acquisition

  • Achieve growth by new product launches

  • Global remit

  • Working closely with the Sales Director, Marketing, Technical Innovations and Customer Experience Team

Profile

  • Minimum 2 years' experience of developing new business

  • Knowledge of cosmetics/personal care industry, and contract manufacturers within it

  • Demonstrable examples of sales growth via new business acquisition

DESIRABLE

  • International sales experience

  • Science degree

  • Product management

  • Experience working within a chemicals/personal care ingredients distributor

  • Experience selling to soap factories

Personal Skills & Attributes

  • Creative Chemistry - ability to work with teams and clients to find solutions

  • Confidence in an entrepreneurial environment

  • Motivated to travel

Job Offer
