This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing, family run business who specialise in a range of packaging products across a variety of channels. The Business Development Manager is a new role to the company and 100% new business focusing on the online, mail order packaging channel.
Established in the 1970's this family run business have experienced significant growth over the last few years and only have bigger plans for the future! Specialising in own label and branded disposable household, kitchen and packaging products, the business supplies to a variety of channels including; convenience, cash & carry, wholesale, mail order packaging, resellers and retail.
As the Business Development Manager you will report in to the Head of Sales. The role is 100% new business and you will be representing a range of mail order packaging, mainly protective packaging products for courier and post.
In this role you will be required to drive forward new business sales, focusing on online retailers. The Business Development Manager will have free reign on the size of accounts, meaning your clients could be an independent or an SME! Once you begin to build your portfolio you will have the opportunity to account manage, maintain and grow these clients.
You will gain support and training from the senior management team, meaning this role will initially be office based for 2-3 days a week in the East Midlands. The Business Development Executive will eventually be field and home based with only 2-4 days in the office each month.
