Our client is a global leader in providing fluid transfer systems to the automotive markets and is seeking a talented Business Development Manager to help grow their operation in the OEM sector. This is a rare opportunity to join a company with almost 50 years’ experience providing the automotive industry with leading products and would suit a talented salesperson with a passion for cars, motorbikes or F1. ·         Identifying and onboard new customers for the OEM team

·         Develop strong business relationships for the company

·         Create, maintain and update a meaningful pipeline of business through a structured sales process

·         Ensuring technical competence to understand customers requirements

·         Maximise profitability of opportunities

·         Continue to manage accounts and develop new revenue streams with existing clients

Ideally you will have knowledge and experience of relevant automotive standards and fluid transfer systems and have a clear and analytical approach to your work. Experience of Solidworks would be useful but you must have at least 4 years relevant Business Development experience and be able to demonstrate the following…

·         Tenacity and organisation

·         Track record of sourcing and closing new high revenue contracts

·         Strong consultative sales technical with senior stakeholders

·         Commercial understanding of complex sales processes and markets

·         Be positive and proactive in sourcing and researching potential new business
