To develop, implement and successfully deliver commercial business plans for surgical and non-surgical offerings in accordance with agreed business objectives and growth expectation, and ensuring all commercial activity complies with CQC/HIW/HIS regulations.

A leading provider of cosmetic surgery, aesthetic and weight loss surgery in the UK.

Description

  • To meet or exceed the sales and profitability targets for the services and projects which fall within the scope of this role

  • To identify appropriately qualified surgeons/dieticians/practitioners/aestheticians to expand the services

  • To ensure business growth by working alongside local and functional managers to ensure all appropriate resources are in place e.g. staffing, equipment, and registrations

  • To build relationships with external partners to enable development and growth of the service

  • To actively promote the services to third parties by creation and co-ordination of presentations/tenders to prospective business users and other senior stakeholders

  • Attendance and input into steering committees

  • Work with Finance Department to develop financial models to challenge current status and appraise new concepts

  • Develop and deliver internal budgets

  • Support Pricing Activity

  • Liaise regularly with the Sales Team and other Management Departments in providing sales information, reports and other business intelligence to assist in the improvement of business performance

  • To liaise with the Marketing Department in developing marketing material and to assist with the provision of information for their use

  • Work with local clinics to ensure that actions and activity promote the brand

  • To research, analyse and provide market competitor information as necessary

  • Work with other managers to share best practice and ideas for business growth

  • To implement policies and actions as directed by the company senior management team

  • Ensure that all commercial activities conform to the company's regulatory and clinical standards.

  • To lead and/or participate in other special projects as requested

Profile

  • Self-motivated with a tenacious desire to learn and improve

  • Substantial project management experience

  • Capable of excellent stakeholder management at all levels

  • IT literate

  • Ability to demonstrate strong moral code

  • Experience in Financial Analysis

  • Experience of working with a Private hospital operator or within healthcare is desirable

  • Some experience of marketing activity and methods is desirable
