We are looking for a New Business Hunter with Property and/or technology sales experience in the Midlands.
Salary is £30,000 - £40,000 basic with On Target Earnings of £60-70,000.
Our international client operates a successful and innovative B2B real estate platform that specialises in off the plan with a strong focus on international markets. In the last 3 years, they've grown from 0-60 staff with throughout Australia, China & the US with more planned. Their market-leading service helps clients manage the process of buying and selling off plan properties; with marketing and inventory management software too, the platform does everything and is fast becoming the must-have software for developers and agents to work seamlessly together, an idea tried before but never so successfully.
Our client is a business to business off the plan sales platform for property professionals. Sellers, can network with thousands of investment agents and advisors, accessing millions of potential buyers. And manage all of their stock, efficiently, with free tools and reporting. Network partners can access more properties, with no listing effort and negotiate directly with the seller. And use our tools to compare properties, keep track of their business and present to clients
Based in their Birmingham office, the Business Development Manager will identify potential clients in the UK and Europe and take control of the whole sales cycle from start to finish. You will be actively seeking new prospects and speaking to them on the phone to get the concept onto their radar. The next step, to those interested, is to book a meeting to give them the full picture. The phone call introduces and qualifies; the meeting is where business is done so you'll need to be equally confident, credible and comfortable over the phone and in person.
So, in brief: find clients, call them, meet them, make clear the benefits and get them started. Then stay in touch to broaden the level of engagement with your services. There are no direct competitors in this space so getting the meetings isn't very difficult.
The role requires a consultative sales approach as you will be getting to know your customer's requirements and carefully explaining how the platform works and how they can get the most from it.
You will have at least 3 year's B2B sales experience.
Any industry will be considered, although a background in real estate sales or software sales is advantageous.
It's important that you will have a natural entrepreneurial character since you will be autonomous and self-driven.
Being upbeat, positive and enthusiastic are essential.
You will be polished, professional and be confident meeting prospective clients face to face.
