The Role: Covering the M62 Corridor, the successful Business Development Manager will be responsible for selling to main and sub-contractors predominantly; some of your time will also be spent with facilities management companies and end users such as shopping centres and commercial buildings. The role involves talking to design managers, surveyors and supply chain managers, working on tenders which average £200k. The role is an even split between account management and business development and the new Business Development Manager will receive full training as well as good ongoing bonus opportunities.
The Company: Established for over 150 years and very close to the top of their marketplace, our client is an expanding construction manufacture. They are now looking to recruit an additional Business Development Manager to sell their range of flat roofing products which includes waterproofing and cladding solutions and the associated ancillaries.
For this Business Development Manager position, we are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:
Strong field sales skills
You must have a track record of selling to main and sub-contractors
Any experience of selling building envelope products is preferred
Driven, motivated and down-to-earth sales people are sought
