Description

The Business Development Manager will actively promote and sell the learning solutions, in the first instance to prospective clients requiring both the learning intervention and the right environment in which to deliver the training as they is also a dedicated venue.

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for generating new business through successful execution of the sales pipeline from prospecting to closing. Experience of a pro-active sales role and the ability to demonstrate new business wins is a must. You will enjoy a challenge and will drive the business development activities to ensure new leads are being generated and followed up. Experience of establishing strong relationships with key decision makers and influencers is essential.

You will work to high standards, have a can-do attitude, and excellent attention to detail. You will be self-motivated and driven to achieve goals and objectives.

Working closely with the wider team, you will deliver high levels of service to new and existing customers, maintaining professional standards at all times.

Profile

Essential skills/experience:

  • New Business Sales experience
  • Face to face experience selling into blue chip corporate businesses
  • Interpersonal skills

Desirable:

  • Experience of Blended Learning Solutions
  • An understanding of selling services rather than commodity products
  • Educated to degree level
