Based in Central London, they have an open plan office with a supportive team. I have just placed the Head of Sales into this organisation and this role would sit within her team. Their core membership has historically been IT/engineering, however, they are about to launch into a new sector for them: the creative sector. The big launch is in June. They have no competitors in their field and provide a large number of invaluable benefits to their membership base of 22,000
This organisation has big growth plans this year so they are looking for an ambitious Business Development Manager to be a part of that. Their aim is to increase membership to 30000 by April 2017. In order to do this, the BDM will need to identify new organisations to join their affiliate scheme and create partnerships. Their will be some account management as well, however, you need to be able to bring on new business and recruit members in bulk.
The role will be very face to face so they encourage you to be out of the office as much as possible, meeting with senior decision makers
Targets clients will be: universities, recruitment companies, accountancy providers etc
The Business Development Manager must have:
