- Create business development strategies with local Sales Director and Group Product Management - Develop new market segments for their innovative and added-value product solutions - Grow the sales for new products & services - Drive the successful strategy execution in the UK, Ireland and Benelux - Support the regional sales team in generating new product and new segment sales - Develop and maintain strong relationships with the regional sales team and their key accounts - Design effective sales campaigns, solution presentations and bid proposals - Achieve ambitious sales and profitability growth targets
Required background and skills:
- Degree in chemistry or plastics technology or comparable background in plastics material industry - Proven track record in business development (or product management) including new product launches (B2B) - Strategic and analytical skills paired with good entrepreneurial and relationship building skills - Strong solution sales and negotiation techniques - Knowledge and understanding of plastic market dynamics - Experience within bespoke colour masterbatch and additive markets would be advantageous - Good technical understanding of injection molding, extrusion and film processing desirable - Team working, sound organisational skills and drive to succeed - Excellent communication skills in spoken and written English
