In this role, reporting to the Head of Sales, the Business Development Manager will be responsible for winning new business as well as up-selling, cross-selling and retaining an existing client base.
In this newly created role, the key responsibilities will include:
- Owning the entire new business sales process from lead generation through to closing business
- Pro-actively developing sales opportunities, primarily through named accounts within the Corporate space
- Managing all existing accounts to the highest professional standards
- Developing and implementing account contact/development plans for target accounts
- Contributing to local sales and marketing strategy within target markets/accounts
- Providing accurate sales forecasts, activity and account development plans to line manager
- Maintaining customer contact and activity reports using
- Working effectively with available consultative resources to support business objectives
- Managing existing product streams and creating/developing new product streams

Along with a proven track record of success in new business sales, experience of any of the following sectors/markets will be relevant; SAAS, Financial Services, Online Payments, Cloud-based IT Services,Systems Integrators and/or Treasury/Cash Management Services.
