This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing, family run business who specialise in disposable catering products. The Business Development Executive is a new role to the company and predominantly new business, with a small portfolio of accounts to inherit.
Established in the 1970's this family run business have experienced significant growth over the last few years and only have bigger plans for the future! Specialising in own label and branded disposable household & kitchen products, our client supplies to a variety of channels including; convenience, cash & carry, wholesale, mail order packaging, resellers and retail.
As the Business Development Executive you will report in to the Director. The role is predominantly new business and will require you to represent a range of own label disposable catering products such as; foil, cling film, cutlery, plates, bin liners, food and freezer bags.
In this role you will inherit a small portfolio of customers and will need to drive forward sales through new business. Your focus will be to secure new accounts with resellers and packaging merchants who would then sell on to the foodservice & HORECA channel.
The Business Development Executive will have free reign on the size of accounts, meaning your clients could be an independent or an SME! Once you begin to build your portfolio you will have the opportunity to account manage, maintain and grow these clients.
You will gain support and training from the senior management team, meaning this role will initially be office based for 2-3 days a week in the East Midlands. The Business Development Executive will eventually be field and home based with only 2-4 days in the office each month.
