Business Development Executive – £23-26K + OTE – London

The Role

 This small and growing creative agency based in Twickenham is looking for a driven Business Development Executive to really take ownership of all business development. The successful candidate will be the key point of contact for all inbound sales enquiries and responsible for the new business revenue to support their rapid growth.  No project is ever the same and you will be expected to propose a relevant solution, tailored to the client.

The role comes with great responsibility as you will be the only sales executive in the company – for now! With a generous commission structure that can mean £40-45K OTE from year 1, this is an extremely exciting opportunity for a career-minded individual to play a major part in growing a small company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate new business opportunities and respond to inbound sales enquiries
  • Meeting with the client to determine their needs and creating bespoke solutions/campaigns for each client
  • Writing proposals and managing proposal content from the wider team
  • Booking pitch meetings with prospective clients and presenting our proposed solution
  • Negotiating terms and closing deals
  • Looking for upsell and cross-sell opportunities as well as new business opportunities in existing accounts

The Person 

Key skills and qualities of a Business Development Executive:

  • Passionate about the marketing / creative industries
  • Driven to smash revenue targets and bring in new deals to grow a small business 
  • Degree level educated
  • Proven track record of hitting sales targets and solution-based/consultative sales skills 
  • Demonstrated interest or past experience in creative industry desirable
