Business Development Executive
We’re looking for a Business Development Executive to drive new business sales around the globe. Reporting directly to the Global Sales & Marketing Manager, the Business Development Executive will join our Business Development Team to sell an exciting range of revised and upcoming products.
Rapidly respond to all new business inquiries
Own key sales regions and drive new business in line with revenue targets
Consistently exploit all channels to make sales, e.g. phone, email, LinkedIn, events
Collaborate with the rest of the business development team and share personal sales performance (both positive and negative) to improve sales performance
Seize and close all incoming business leads generated by the marketing team
Work closely with the marketing team to help optimise marketing activity

Essential Skills & Experience
Proven ability to work to and deliver on sales/revenue targets
Excellent telephone manner
Proven record of prioritising phone use over emails
Experience managing sales across several regions
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience measuring and reporting on sales performance
Experience demoing and presenting products
Ability to use CRM software, e.g. Salesforce
Collaborative approach to sales as business development to achieve overall company targets
Ability to communicate professionally in English
Interest in languages and Ed-Tech
Desirable Skills & Experience:
Experience within Ed-Tech industry
Ability to speak at least one other language
Experience using webinar software
Base salary - £24k (OTE £40k)
Complimentary tea, coffee, chilled water and cereal
Central Brighton-based office
