The client is a niche consultancy firm with several offices worldwide. They specialise in advising innovative companies on how to claim research and development tax credits from the government.

Their Head office is based in North America and they are now investing substantially in the European arm of their business and are looking to bring several new people into their London office as a result of substantial year on year growth.

Business Development Associate - R & D Tax Credits

The organisation is currently recruiting for experienced Business-to-Business (B2B) Appointment Setters who are looking to be part of our UK team. The UK team works closely with the technical staff located in Toronto. This position will enable the candidate to have a natural progression and move into a face to face role and become a Business Development Executive/Manager.

Role Responsibilities

  • Contacting businesses and setting up appointments for the Business development manager. This will be covering a variety of sectors including: IT, Manufacturing, Engineering, Oil and gas, Insurance groups, Food & drinks etc
  • Researching financial statements and websites
  • Prospecting and generating leads for the company to develop into further business
  • Maintaining a high standard of quality calls to ensure that customers are treated fairly
  • Achieving daily & weekly targets over a range of KPI's
  • Reporting to your Team Manager
  • Representing the company in a professional manner
  • Updating CRM system accurately
  • Following up with Business Development Managers and Technical consultants regularly
  • Attending face to face meeting alongside the Business development managers

Profile

Business Development Associate - R & D Tax Credits

Ideal Candidate

  • A confident and professional telephone manner
  • A proactive and consultative sales approach
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Previous experience of working in a B2B Business Development environment is essential
  • Experience working within the Professional or Financial Services sector is preferable though not essential

Job Offer

A basic salary of £25,000 - £32,500 depending on experience
