This role is predominantly office/telephone based working from the Solihull office. Some flexibility to work from remote locations and occasional travel will be required.

Our client provides an online program that helps small-to-medium sized businesses develop a more engaged and productive team that's excited to come to work every day by delivering valuable measurements and insights.

Description

The overriding focus of this role is to proactively move client opportunities through the sales process to conversion. Client opportunities are provided by the growing network of authorised partners, digital marketing and PR initiatives.

Key responsibilities include:

Sales conversion

  • Effectively utilise pre-defined process to move opportunities through the sales funnel
  • Conduct in-depth product demos, advising potential clients on how they can most effectively utilise the product and features to measurably improve engagement in their organisations.
  • At every stage of the sales process, be alert to additional sales/referral opportunities.
  • Represent the company at company-sponsored and at third-party networking events/seminars, creating client and partner opportunities through engaging dialogue.

Partner engagement and relationship management

  • To maintain and nurture a network of active partners
  • To educate and inspire potential partners on the partner program opportunity
  • Move partners through our sales process such that they register as partners, certified partners or fast-track partners.
  • The majority of new partners will be referred by existing partners but the ideal candidate will be alert to identifying opportunities outside of the existing partner network marketing initiatives.
  • Follow and implement the established systems and processes to move partners through to active status.
  • Updating our CRM system (salesforce).

Profile

Experience

  • A two plus year track record of success in inside sales converting sales opportunities targeting the owners of organisations with 10 - 500 employees. Experience selling business or human resource services is preferred.
  • Completed a reputable B2B sales training program.
  • Consistently ranked in the top-half of the sales team
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience using a CRM system for activity reporting.
  • Experience in following a documented consultative, selling process.
  • A track record in relationship management with decision makers at a senior level.
  • Experience of working with coaches, consultants or mentors to SME's is helpful but not essential.

  • You're coachable - in other words, you're happy to give and receive feedback from others.
  • You're open, honest and always operate with integrity.
  • Persistent, results orientated with a positive and enthusiastic with a 'can-do' attitude and bags of initiative.
  • You're hardworking and resilient - and don't take your eye off the ball.
