My client are a global insurance business and are recognised as one of the leading insurance companies across the world. They have offices across the globe and currently looking to grow the North West region further with the addition of a Broker Relationship Manager within their Manchester office.

Description

As a Broker Relationship Manager you will be responsible for the following:

  • Drive business growth in the brokered SME market by identifying and converting sales leads into new business.
  • Increase customer volume of UK SME portfolio
  • Regular pro-active calls/e-mails/ meetings with brokers to nurture relationships and encourage new business introductions
  • Negotiate and influence brokers to recognise the value and fit of the product by offering competitive price and selection of relevant modules.
  • Respond to new business requests promptly, displaying clear understanding of key issues and requirements.

Profile

The successful Broker Relationship Manager will be required to demonstrate the following skills and attributes:

  • Ability to develop strong relationships with effective pipeline management
  • Ability to negotiate and influence processes
  • Desire for success
  • Good communication skills
  • Effective internal relationship development
