My client is a leading media business who focus on audience engagement for the publishing industry. They help bring the right people to particular title and brands therefore boosting advertising ROI and readership levels. They are currently in the process of somewhat of a transformation developing new revenue streams that they want someone like you to be a part of.
The Role of a Brand Sales manager will be to roll out and develop the businesses new offering to consumer brands, primarily food, beverage and toiletry channels. You role will be to develop these relationships with big brands and agencies associated with brands and bring them on board with the project. You will be responsible from start to finish of the sales process and be the key point of contact internally and externally to brands and the business. This is an exciting opportunity to pick up a new project and make it a success.
The Successful Brand Sales manager will have the following
Background of selling into large consumer brands and household name business, either directly or through agency
Have live contacts in this sector that can be used as contacts from day one.
The confidence to work on a completely new and untested product offering with a desire to make it a success.
Project management or strategic account management experience. You must be able to think operationally not just commercially
Flexible and adaptable to different situations and changing environments
Clear a justifiable success in previous sales positions
Longevity in previous roles
The successful Brand Sales Manager will receive
Basic salary of £35k - £45k
Uncapped commission structure with potential of double OTE
Central London based
