General Sales Manager
£60,000 basic salary with an OTE £90,000 + company car + pension
A great opportunity has become available within our clients highly desirable car dealership in Yorkshire for an experienced Automotive General Sales Manager to join their busy and successful Sales team.
The successful sales manager will have the experience and ability to continue the growth of the business in both volume of sales and profit per unit whilst continuing to deliver the high standards of customer care that a top end brand desires.
The main responsibilities of the General Sales Manager are to organise the sales activities to ensure the department’s efficient and profitable operation.
The successful candidate will also be responsible for:
-Overseeing the sales managers, sales executives, business manager, sales administrators and valeting team.
-Effectively market and sell; vehicles, finance packages and additional products and services.
-Dealing with any customer issues and complaints
- Monitoring and working to monthly, quarterly and annual targets.
Our client is looking for a high calibre General Sales Manager with a customer care focus so would ideally suit a Manager from a prestige or luxury background looking to develop their management career and progress in the future to a more senior role.
Candidates must be able to provide a history of target achievement and job stability.
Candidates with experience with brands such as Audi, BMW, Jaguar, Jeep, Land Rover, Lotus, Porsche, Volkswagen would be well received.
Automotive General Sales Manager experience essential.
