As an Area Sales Manager you will selling lubricants into the automotive aftermarket

Description

  • To manage and develop existing customer base and identify new business development opportunities through to profitable sales. Targeting higher contribution levels and sourcing new markets.
  • Management and development of existing customer base and identification and management of new business opportunities.
  • To maintain extensive knowledge of current market conditions and competitor activity
  • Understand complete automotive product range, latest specifications and approvals.

Profile

  • A previous tract record of selling lubricants in the automotive lubricants industry is essential, with success selling into the agricultural, fleet, IMT, Heavy Duty, Quarry, off Highway, Franchise Dealer market places.

  • Ideally you would have sold lubricants for a manufacturer or on behalf of a distributor
  • You will be self-motivated and driven with high levels of tenacity and will be committed to delivering outstanding levels of customer service as a team member
  • Able to demonstrate how they have achieved profitable sales growth through selling high-quality technical solutions.
  • Ideally, you will have experience in selling either high value lubricants or similar products. Experience and knowledge of markets like food, rail, cement or chemical would be advantage but not a necessity.
  • The role demands excellent organisational and time management skills.

Job Offer

£30,000- £40,000
