Job Title: Area Sales Manager – Modular Accommodation Hire

Area to be covered: West Midlands, South Wales, Leicestershire & Gloucestershire (focus on Midlands)
Remuneration: £40,000-£45,000 Neg. + uncapped bonus of £24,000 Year One and £48,000 Year Two

The role of the Area Sales Manager Modular Accommodation Hire will involve:
· Field sales position selling the hire of large modular complexs, typically 15-50 bays and order values from £100,000-£1m+
· Predominantly a new business development position, although you will inherit a small number of existing customers, approx. 10 on this area with a turnover of circa £1.5m
· New area for the business in respect of having dedicated coverage
· Typically 12 weeks from enquiry to delivery
· Year one target of £2m, year two target will be 400 new modular bays hired out per annum (£4m)
· Large modular complexs can be made up of any number of bays as each large modular complex is completely bespoke in respect of m2
· You will be required to advise on layout of modular buildings based upon the required footprint (e.g. double story / partial double story etc) and convey customer requirements to design, and commercial management via bid launch process
· Fantastic internal support and telesales generated leads
· 50% of your time targeting construction companies: main contractors and building contractors, and 50% targeting commercial, education and healthcare end users
· Small proportion of time will be spent on construction sites, some site surveys may also be required
The ideal applicant will be an Area Sales Manager Modular Accommodation Hire with:
· Must come from hire industry
· Must have contacts with main contractors and building contractors in the Midlands
· Ideally modular industry field sales experience, may consider large or heavy plant hire
· Commercially aware
· Ability to quote / price jobs and understand site surveys
· Ability to close deals
· Hunger / appetite for new business
· Ideally good knowledge of the construction, commercial, educational and healthcare sectors
