Job Title: Area Sales Manager – LVT & Carpet

Areas to be covered: North (LA BD BB PR BL OL HX HD & LS)
Remuneration: £31,000-£34,000 + £6,000-£9,000 Bonus
Benefits: Fully expensed car & full benefits
The role of the Area Sales Manager – LVT & Carpet will involve:
· Field sales position selling a mid to high end manufactured range of carpet and newly launched high quality range of LVT
· Selling into independent flooring retailers and distributors
· Responsible for circa 140 retail customers on patch
· £700,000 revenue responsibility
· Tasked with growing an area currently performing at 80% of budget expectation
· 70% account management, 30% new business development position
· Account sizes will vary from £5,000 per annum up to £70,000 per annum
· Supporting retail showrooms with merchandising
The ideal applicant will be an Area Sales Manager – LVT & Carpet with:
· Flooring industry proven field sales experience
· Ideally experience of LVT luxury vinyl tile or carpet
· Must have sold into flooring retail showrooms
· Must be comfortable selling POS (point of sale) displays
· Comfortable with occasional overnight stays when required
· Self motivated/ enthusiastic
· Commercially aware
· Ideally worked for a flooring manufacturer
