Brief job description:  Our Global client, with numerous manufacturing and engineering divisions, now wishes to

appoint an Area Sales Manager within the Industrial Market Section where they will support the continued growth

of the Industrial Seals Division


 Main purpose of the role

To profitably grow the Client’s market by maximizing customer satisfaction through offering value added products, services and integrated solutions to the OEM and End User market in Oil, Gas, Petrochem  and Traditional Power


 Key responsibilities

  • Is responsible for promoting the complete Client portfolio  locally/regionally (focus on sealing solutions)
  • Is committed to grow Client business and profit according to agreed plan.
  • Acts as the Client ambassador who is building relations and continuously creating new adequate contacts at her/his accounts, with a main focus on highest possible level.
  • Acts as the Client speaking partner to the customer.
  • Negotiates corporate contracts.
  • Forms the necessary sales team and acts as the leader in the corporate negotiation process.
  • Establishes long term growth strategy at her/his accounts in coordination with European Sales team and organises sales and marketing activities accordingly.
  • Coordinates activities towards customer.
  • Is specialized in strategic selling sales methodology.
  • Coordinates the follow up of business opportunities with relevant sales people.
  • Makes sure that all potential savings and benefits from offered solutions are documented and communicated to customer.
  • Coordinates a proactive approach of Client Value offering.
  • Organizes benchmarking and cross fertilization activities in order to replicate success stories.
  • Focuses on improving our knowledge about customer.
  • Makes sure that her/his performance on sales and profit are in line with commitments.





Experience:      Appropriate experience selling technical value based solutions to OEM’s and Direct End Users..


                             Engineering and/or Business Management qualifications or equivalent.


Skills:                 The ideal candidate will have strong commercial and technical and ability, advanced presentation skills, be creative and innovative as well as being customer focused and have forward planning skills. They will be a good team player with strong interpersonal skills.
