Job Title: Area Sales Manager
Salary: £22,500 to £30,000 pa dependent on experience (plus a bonus scheme with the potential to achieve 20% of salary)

The Company is a leading pet food manufacturer based in Lancashire and they have now a fantastic opportunity for a talented and ambitious Area Sales Manager to join one of the fastest growing brands within its sector.
The Company is one of the fastest growing UK pet food manufacturers and are looking to strengthen their ever growing team with 'Area Sales Managers' to cover the South Eastern region for the Specialist Pet sector.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships within the Company existing pet specialist customer base as well as establishing and expanding into new retailers within the specified territory. Applicants should be excellent communicators, presenters and negotiators and will have a good understanding and feel of sales and market trends. The role is accountable for meeting sales targets and ensuring regular planning, administration and reporting is maintained.
Sales experience within the pet industry is favoured, but not essential.
Applicants must be self-motivated and have the ability to work on their own initiative to realise the potential within this market.
The position is field based and will involve travel around the UK and nights away from home; therefore a full UK driving license are vital.
All candidates must currently be eligible to work in the United Kingdom.
