We are currently looking for an Area Sales Manager based in the Southampton area. Proven experience within the Materials Handling industry would be an advantage but is not essential, as candidates with a successful track record of creating first class customer relationships and exceeding sales targets will also be considered.  The role will require a highly motivated, engaging and approachable person with a strong commercial mind-set who enjoys a challenge and has excellent time management skills. In addition to the Sales responsibilities of this role, the successful candidates will be required to lead the regions Sales Team whilst working collaboratively alongside Service to maximise revenue and profitability across the region.

The successful candidates will be representing STILL as brand ambassadors to potential and existing customers and must be well-presented with a professional manner.

Key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Achieving agreed Territory Sales targets, for revenue, order intake and market share.

  • Working collaboratively alongside Service and other business lines to maximise revenue and profitability.  Maintaining a harmonious and productive sales environment.

  • To grow Used and STR revenue opportunities, ensuring consistent regional focus is achieved.

  • Provide regional leadership and support for the Territory team.

  • Coaching, mentoring, monitoring and managing the Sales Team to maximise their potential and achieve agreed Company targets
