Area Sales Manager - Lighting - £35-37.5k + £7.5k + Car

The Role: This Area Sales Manager role is to manage relationships that they have in place with all the leading electrical distributors and wholesalers, as well as conduct a specification-lead role by dealing with architects, local authorities and consultants. Some of your time will also be spent with contractors and installers. Full product training is provided for the new area sales manager.
The Company: With a history of success spanning over fifty years, this manufacturer is continuing to expand its sales team. They sell indoor, outdoor and flood lighting including motion sensors and photoelectric controllers and enjoy a £200 million sales turnover globally. Now looking to recruit a new Area Sales Manager to join their sales team in the North of England.
For this Area Sales Manager position, we are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:
  • Strong field sales background
  • You will come from a construction sales background and understand how to sell t contractors and distributors
  • Any experience of working for an electrical wholesaler is particularly useful
  • Driven and structured sales people will fit in well here
