The Role: Based from home in the North of England, the new Area Sales Manager will be selling into OEMs in the main, dealing with sectors such as automotive aerospace, medical, packaging and special purpose machine builders. You will be talking to design engineers and purchasers, predominantly upselling and developing new business within established accounts. A full company induction and on-the-road training with the Country Manager will ensure your success here.
The Company: An expanding Japanese manufacturer, our client is now looking for a new Area Sales Manager to join their team in the North of England as they are growing here. They sell custom mechanical components for machinery, low volume products including cutting tools, wiring components and fasteners, for OEM as well as MRO applications.
For this Area Sales Manager position, we are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:
Good sales skills
You will have a good technical understanding, ideally from a mechanical engineering background
Independent and forward-thinking sales people will do well here
