The Role: The successful Area Sales Manager will be looking after a network of builders merchants and buying groups, as well as liaising with main contractors, housebuilders and sub-contractors. The role is an even split between account management and business development and you will be working at branch, site and regional levels. Full company and product training is standard here for new area sales managers.
The Company: Established since the 1970s and currently leading their sector, this British company is now looking to recruit a new Area Sales Manager. They manufacture and sell preformed cavity trays for wall and underfloor ventilation, as well as loft hatches, access panels and cavity closers.
For this Area Sales Manager position, we are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:
Field sales experience
You will have sold into builders merchants and house developers
Sales of both heavy or lightside products will be considered
You will have a strong character and be able to fit in well with the team
