A leading manufacturer of innovative highway products are looking to recruit an Area Sales Manager to be accountable for growing a portfolio of accounts with local authorities across the West Midlands
This will be achieved through a combination of account growth and developing brand new business relationships by effectively selling the company's varied product ranges. You will need to build long lasting customer relationships and be able to provide a consultative approach to the benefits of your products in a highly competitive market.
The job occupant will ideally be a confident, positive person, who is persuasive, self-starting, assertive, finisher/completer and independent but works well as a strong team player too.
This person needs to be able to ask for the order and not have a fear of rejection.
Forging relationships with engineering consultancy firms and Local Authorities on patch
Build and develop on these to get on specification for all street furniture across LA remit
Upsell and cross sell across product range
Build new specifications and break down old specs through competitor analysis
High energy level with a passion for people and building strong customer relationships
Must be results-orientated and be able to work independently and within a team
UK Valid driving license
Candidates with a sports background have been very successful in this role
Have a background in construction, particularly in the Civils market
£25,000-30,000 plus attractive bonus
