This is an exciting opportunity to join the UK market leader for industrial gases & technology in a new role which has been added to the existing Applications sales team. You will be joining a well established and high performing team and you will be responsible for generating profitable new business as part of the ongoing Process Industries (PI) growth strategy build around Applications growth.
My client are a market leading industrial gas manufacturer,an this is a new and additional role which has been added to the existing Applications Food & Beverage team to help deliver new business growth from a sector identified in the Process Industries (PI) strategy as having further growth potential
This is a sales role which has the principle objective of identifying, developing and delivering Application led new business growth opportunities in the Midlands /South West area of the UK in line with agreed individual new business targets and performance KPI's.
The role will focused on delivering new business growth from Food & Beverage (F&B) Applications which include Food freezing & chilling, modified atmosphere packaging & In transit refrigeration (ITR) across all relevant categories.
To be successful in this role, you will be/have:
A strong background selling in Food and Bev Manufacturers
Strong process/application selling skills, both oral and written
Strong commercial skills and general business decision making which includes direct selling and negotiating experience at high value customer level
Knowledge & ability to engage in detailed processes costing analysis (freezing & chilling) with target customers
Strong communication skills, both oral and written
Customer relationship management and customer business development skills
Planning & project management skills
Profit assessment capability (profit modelling / process knowledge)
Team work capability
£45,000 - £50,000 + £5,000 bonus and package
