Account Manager (Field Based), Document Management/MFDs

Basic Salary: circa £25,000

This is a genuine opportunity for a ‘money hungry’ sales professional with a strong sales track record, who resides within London/Home Counties area but has experience of selling within the city. The role will be split approximately 70% existing account development and 30% new business.
As this opportunity sits with a well established document management solutions & multifunctional device supplier, we welcome applications from both MFD sector sales people (must have strong track-record/previous earnings and good continuity of employment) or entirely non-sector experienced applicants, albeit you will need to have confidence in taking on a steep learning curve regarding technical product (hardware) sales.
You must reside within a 1-hour drive of the office which is based in Croydon/Bromley area as you will conceivably be spending one day a week here, but the remainder of your working week will be spent attending client appointments (predominantly city based) which will be a mixture of existing/historic client accounts and brand new business meetings.
There is plenty of support with new business sales (dedicated teleappointing team to pre-qualify and confirm a large percentage of appointments for you to attend) although you will also be encouraged to self-generate where possible.
Targeting the SME and corporate market within the city area, our client supplies to all manner of sectors and industries so you will relish the opportunity to be prospecting a diverse target audience. You will be targeted to achieve a minimum £10k in new business monthly, although the ‘sky’s the limit’ as your own earning potential is truly uncapped.
The successful applicant will be expected to retain, grow and nurture new client accounts offering a ‘cradle to grave’ approach.
It is important that applicants can substantiate their track-record to some extent at interview. If not a ‘brag file’, at the very least, proof of previous earnings within the £50k+ bracket are essential to be considered for this role.
